Deep Tissue
This massage is for anyone with definite issues they would like addressed - whether you are in chronic pain or have specific areas of tension you need relieved, we can work on these through deep tissue techniques. For those of you who just prefer a stronger, deeper touch, this one's for you. Remember, we work within your tolerance and deep tissue should be a relieving experience, not a painful one.

Neuromuscular Technique
This is a form of deep tissue massage that relieves pain, muscle spasms and increases circulation to the inner part of the muscles. This influences the reflexive responses of the nervous system and its connection to muscular function. Pain can also be referred from trigger points throughout the body.  Releasing trigger points help conditions with sciatica, lower/upper back pain, gluteal pain, etc.

Prenatal
You are in a very special place in your life and this massage brings you much needed nurturing and muscle tension relief. You have the option of lying face down on a comfortable, supporting pregnancy body cushion  or you may be placed in a comfortable side-lying position propped with lots of pillows in all the right places. Your baby will feel your happiness! This makes a great shower gift.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage
The goal of LDM is to reduce lymphatic congestions and retention of wastes, and to condition the immune system by assisting the flow of lymph along its normal routes.  Impairment of lymphatic flow can stem from a number of causes, the most common being an infection, poor diet, and stress. LDM flushes toxins by moving them through and out of the lymph nodes while using light, superficial massage.

Conditions treated: allergy symptoms, arthritis, edema/swelling, recent surgery (such hip replacement, cosmetic surgery, liposuction, mastectomy), psoriasis, sinusitis, sinus congestion, and many other inflammatory conditions.

If you are experiencing a particular condition, multiple treatments may be needed.  This is also a great way to naturally rid the body of toxins on a regular basis and maintain your immune system.

Reflexology
Reflexology is a form of bodywork based on the theory of zone therapy, the principle that every organ and system of the body has a corresponding point or zone in the feet and hands. The therapist uses light pressure to massage each of the points in the face, ears, wrists, hands, fingers, toes, feet and ankles to release tension, remove energy blockages, disperse accumulations of calcium and uric acid, stimulate blood circulation and promote healing of both body and mind. An hour session will include a complimentary warming treatment for the feet. All reflexology sessions include aromatherapy.

Microcurrent Point Stimulation (Integrative Pain Management Techniques)
Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS) is the application of brief, concentrated DC microcurrent impulses to specific treatment points to relax muscles, calm the nervous system and release endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers. When MPS is applied to unique acupuncture and myofascial trigger points it is called MPS Therapy. Stimulating all three systems — nervous, muscular and endocrine — makes MPS Therapy effective for treating many chronic and acute soft-tissue pain conditions. There are two general types of electric current: the back-and-forth flow of alternating current (AC), which powers most of our household appliances and the TENS unit, and direct current (DC), which flows in one direction. MPS therapy uses direct current, mirroring the current (or electron flow) of the human nervous system. MPS uses a noninvasive, metal tip to apply low-amperage stimulation current directly to the skin, providing precise pain therapy.

Scar Therapy - Scar tissue, no matter how old, may cause pain throughout the body. Scar Release Therapy (SRT) is a technique which involves the simultaneous application of DC microcurrent to each side of a scar (external or internal) in order to electrically “repolarize” the thickened scar tissue. This scar release also releases fascia and muscles which may be directly influenced by the scar. Releasing scars which "cut" meridians and nerve pathways can often be the single most important factor in the treatment of chronic pain. Scar restrictions and blockages adversely affect the body in many ways, but the biggest influence is on pain. Fortunately, releasing the scar using MPS can yield powerful pain relieving outcomes, which can improve mobility, diminish complications and decrease pain often found far removed from the scar site! MPS is available with Rashael only. For extra info click here

Hot Stone Massage
Hot Stone Massage is very relaxing and can just melt your stress away, but did you know it also adds a terrific therapeutic value to your massage as well?

Hot Stones are incorporated into Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage, which promotes deep muscle and tissue relaxation. This result opens the door for your therapist to work even deeper on trigger points and tight muscles.  Hot Stone massage helps with releasing toxins, relieving pain and improving circulation.  Hot Stone Massage is helpful to muscular aches and pains, back pain, MS, arthritis, fibromyalgia, stress, anxiety, circulatory problems, insomnia, and depression.

Couples Massage
Share the benefits of a massage with someone special, enhancing your overall experience.  Two people are massaged in the same room, at the same time, by two therapists.  This is great for couples, friends and mother/daughter.  Enhance your massage by adding a couples sauna session

REIKI - Usui Shiki Ryoho
REI = Universal Source    KI = Life Energy Force

Reiki relieves stress, provides relaxation and promotes healing.
Deep relaxation conserves your body’s resources, usually depleted by worry, tension or pain.  Ongoing stress and disharmony causes our body systems to become imbalanced, creating physical and/or emotional distress.

Reiki is non-invasive and gentle.
Reiki is a Japanese hands-on healing technique working with the energy that is in you and everything.  Your Reiki Practitioner is attuned to be a Channel for energy to flow where it needs to go assisting with the physical and emotional balance within you.

Cupping & Gua Sha
Cupping and Gua Sha are alternative methods used to treat cellulite, scars, injuries (past and present) and chronic/acute pain.

Gua Sha is a "scraping" of the skin. This technique breaks apart the fascia and also reveals trigger points, adhesions and blood stagnation. A cup may be placed on a trigger point for up to 5 minutes (discoloration of the skin will last a few days). Cupping pulls the underlying tissues (muscle fibers, fascia, tendons etc) away from the body creating space for blood and lymph and releases fascial adhesions. These locations, when released, will increase energy, increase range of motion and alleviate pain from injuries.
